The Student Assessment and Evaluation division administers a comprehensive assessment program that provides reliable and accurate data about student performance in mathematics and literacy to assist in educational decision making at all levels (student, school, region/board, and province).

Assessment Schedule
The Program of Learning Assessment for Nova Scotia (PLANS) is responsible for the administration of international, national, and provincial assessments and examinations. Student Assessment and Evaluation develops, administers, scores, and reports on English and French provincial assessments and examinations.
